EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Temporary, Seasonal
HOUR(S) - ROTATION(S): 80 hours bi-weekly- Monday thru Friday, 8am to 4pm
COMPENSATION: $19.50 per hour
DURATION: Training starts late May with the position ending on August 21, 2026

We are excited to offer a unique summer employment opportunity perfect for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with intellectual disabilities. This position will provide invaluable experience and a fulfilling way to spend your summer.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support, supervision and assistance to children aged 5 to 12 years with intellectual disabilities within a lively town camp setting.
- Ensure a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for all campers.
- Collaborate with Town camp staff and participate in training and development sessions.
Qualifications:
- Experience in working with children, particularly those with intellectual disabilities, is preferred
- Enthusiasm for creating fun and recreational and social experiences for children.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR level C certifications are an asset.
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Valid police check – vulnerable sector
